Nine-year-old Slumdog Millionaire actress to release her memoir

The 9-year-old Mumbai girl Rubin Ali who starred in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire is penning memoirs about her life in Mumbai slums. The US Magazine reports, Ali’s book in which she depicts a wooden hut swarmed with rats where her family lived will come out in Britain in July. In March, Slumdog Millionaire scooped eight Oscars, including for best film of the year. The film tells the story about a poor young man from the slums of Mumbai who wins the Indian version of the game “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”
