NATO starts air exercises in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

Two-day exercises of NATO air forces are underway in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia above the Baltic Sea. The maneuvers, which first took place in autumn last year, are now expected to be held on a regular basis for each of the air force contingents have been patrolling Baltic air space once in every four months since 2004. Russian military have been following closely the air space activities and the radiation levels near the borders.
