Russia knows how to fight drug trafficking in Afghanistan

Russia is soon expected to unveil its plan on how to fight drug trafficking in Afghanistan. Viktor Ivanov, head of Russia's drug control agency, says Moscow suggests treating heroin coming from Afghanistan as a weapon of mass destruction aimed against the young generation first of all. Ivanov thinks it is high time to record this threat in basic UN documents, including a special resolution of the Security Council.
