Ministers in Nepal will hold the world's highest ever cabinet meeting on Mount Everest to highlight the impact of global warming on the great Himalayan glaciers. Nepal's ministers follow the lead of ministers in the Maldives who staged a cabinet meeting under water to highlight the risk of the tropical islands being submerged by rising sea levels. The ministers will sit together later today at a base camp at 5,300 meters where mountaineers begin their final ascent of Everest.
