Croatian President Stjepan Mesic  says Croatia is against anti-ballistic missile defense deployments in Europe. During a lecture at the Russian Foreign Ministry on December 14th, Mr. Mesic said Croatia supports Russian President’s initiatives on pan-European security. As for Croatia’s joining NATO, the president said, it is just for the sake of security and prevention of possible military threats. Zagreb will never threaten any  country, Mesic said.
