NATO expects Russia to export its helicopters, weapons and fuel to Afghanistan and also train police personnel in the region since the coalition forces fail to provide Afghans with necessary equipment, the alliance’s Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen told the Echo Moskvy radio Wednesday following his talks with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. Mr. Rasmussen also said he hoped Russia would join NATO`s new system of anti-missile defense.
