NATO hopes to have joint anti-missile system with Russia

NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen has said he hopes that by 2020 Russia and NATO will create a joint system of anti-missile defense. Speaking in Moscow's State Institute of the International relations he said that the joint anti missile system will prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and bind Russia and NATO politically. He also said that he expects Russia to provide more support to NATO troops in Afghanistan. Now Russia allows NATO to use its territory to transport its new troops and facilities to support its coalition forces in Afghanistan
