Russia is supporting a Middle East conference in Moscow and hopes the conditions for its arrangement are favorable, deputy-Foreign Minister Alexander Saltanov has said. He believes that holding the conference will be possible if international mediators resume Israeli-Palestinian talks. Making a speech at a meeting in Jordan, Saltanov said that the way for the conference has not been paved yet. There has been no improvement yet since the Annapolis Conference which started a year round of Israeli-Palestinian talks.
