Children’s festival opens in Primorye

A major children’s festival has opened in south-eastern Russia’s Primorye Region in an event that will see more than 400 kids from all across the country showing their sports and creative skills in a variety of relevant contests. The festival is due to be attended by Primorye Region governor Sergei Darkin and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who is currently paying a working visit to the area. The festival is being held at a state-of-the-art children’s entertainment center that is located on the outskirts of the Far Eastern city of Vladivostok.
