Volgodonsk energy block shut for repair

The first energy block at the Volgodonsk nuclear power plant in the south of Russia has been shut down for repair, reported the Rosenergoatom energy company. Rosenergoatom said a leakage in the steam generator's pipe system might have led to the repair and the work would last about four days. Radiation level at the plant and in the nearby area remains normal.
