Anti-globalists will launch a campaign against U.S. military bases in Latin America. The decision was passed at the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil, on Thursday. The campaign will begin with protests against the U.S. military presence in Colombia and Panama. Participants in the forum criticized the Nobel Committee for giving the U.S. President Barack Obama a Nobel Prize for Peace, arguing the he didn’t deserve the award.
