Russia, Belarus agree on electricity transit

 The national electricity grids of Russia and Belarus have signed contracts for Russian electricity transit to Kaliningrad and the Baltics across Belarusian territory. There is no word of whether Belarusian demands for higher tariffs have been met.   The Baltics are in a dire strait after Lithuania shut its Soviet-era Igmalina nuclear power plant.
