delegates are chosen openly. They are mainly  students who  applied on  Facebook on the equal basis. They have shown that they have leadership qualities and take part in  social projects.

On February 8th,  the first day of the forum, representatives of Russia, Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries  work in special sections. Among them is a 25-year-old  Valeria Samborskaya from Kiev.

She's an educational expert and  works in the company which send  Ukrainian students to study to Great Britain. Annually she holds  international seminars and round tables featuring educational experts from  Ukraine, Russia, Europe and the US to discuss the interaction in  international education. Valeria was sent to One Young World for her activity. She will make a report on Educational Expertise. The «VoR»  asked Valeria  through the Internet: «Today Ukraine sees serious political drama. Do you, as a youth leader who represents the country in London, know, what  Ukraine needs?" Valeria Samborskaya said the Ukraine needs skilled experts with intellectual background who ready to live in the common world where all borders and differences begin to be blurred due to globalization and hi-tech development . For this purpose it is necessary to know foreign languages, to understand each other, to know about problems which the humanity faces.

Forum pays much attention  not only to education,  but also to the development of political leadership, changes of the role of mass media, dialogue of religions. Participants can put forward their proposals  how to improve the world's political and economic climate. Organizers claim to consider even  the most fantastic ideas,  as  history shows , many faults could have been avoided, if people had believed Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein and Sergey Korolev in time. The forum will end in a  final resolution which will forwarded to the forthcoming  G8 session.
