Ukraine’s Central Elections Commission says after counting almost 100% of the votes that Victor Yanukovich has won the election by polling slightly over 3% more than his opponent Julia Tymoshenko. But Tymoshenko says she will never recognize Yanukovich’s victory as legitimate and will contest the results in court. The Prime Minister’s bloc says they will press for holding a third round. Tymoshenko’s supporters allege that the gap between the contenders is less scale-wise than vote-rigging in constituencies.
