Toyota recalls 400,000 cars worldwide

The car giant Toyota is recalling 400,000 cars worldwide. There have been complaints that brakes fail in hybrid models on rough roads. According to Toyota officials, it takes mechanics form 30 minutes to two hours to fix the breakdown. Hybrid models sell in 60 countries and all are now due to be repaired free. In recent months the car manufacturer has recalled over 8 million cars for repair and reworking. This certainly damages the prestige of the make and can undercut Toyota’s market power.
