Eating premium dark chocolate regularly reduces a stroke risk by 20 percent, London’s "Daily Telegraph" newspaper informs quoting an international group of scientists. They are to publish their researches in the American Academy of Neurology. According to the survey featuring 50 thousand people, chocolate reduces the risk of death with those who already have had a stroke by 50 percent. 50 grams of dark chocolate once a week is enough for this. Scientists connect this positive effect with flavonoids - strong antioxidants present in chocolate. However, eating too much chocolate can harm one’s health as it has a lot of fat.
