Colombian navy destroys drug sub

The Colombian Navy has destroyed a submarine owned by the drug mafia. According to a high-ranking officer, the 17-meter-long submarine, capable of carrying 10 tons of cargo, was discovered in the rainforest in South-Eastern Colombia. The military assume that it was owned by one of the region’s gangs, and used to supply large cocaine consignments across Central America and Mexico, as well as to the US and Europe. Colombian special forces destroyed an underground wharf and a camp of drug dealers in a military operation.
