Brown snow has fallen on two districts of the Krasnodar Region in the North Caucasus, which may be caused by ventilation emissions of some factories, according to Interfax. Meanwhile, the neighboring Stavropol Region could observe pink snow, reported to be resulting from industrial discharges to the atmosphere. Rospotrebnadzor, the trade and hygiene inspection authority of Russia, said that, according to preliminary data, this snow is harmless for health. Still, the department is unable to find out the reasons for its untypical coloring. A comprehensive analysis of probes will be ready in 4-5 days.
