Reporters in Kosovo receive threats

The reporters who are conducting investigation in Kosovo on former militants of the region's Liberation Army are receiving threats, the Reporters Sans Frontier right activists organization said in a press release Thursday. However local police and prosecution are ignoring their complaints and even urges them to withdraw them, the press release read.  RSF called upon the EU authorities to take concrete steps to prevent this "flourishing impunity" as soon as possible. If Kosovo really wants to join the EU it should guarantee the mass media the right to investigate and to cover the situation in all spheres of life, the press release read.
