New earthquake hits Chile

A new earthquake has hit Chile. According to Seismic service of the Is, a 7.2 magnitude shock was registered in 11.39 local time (17.39 Moscow time). The earthquake focus was located 124 km South West frinm the capital of Santiago. No casualties have been reported so far. The tsunami alarm has been announced; the shock coincided with the swearing-in ceremony of President Sebastian Piñera. The earthquake made people panic but the ceremony was not interrupted. The Russian delegation at the ceremony was headed by special presidential envoy Arthur Chilingarov. On February 27, a 8.8 magnitude earthquake took lived of about 500 people.
