| Mar 12, 2010 14:07 Moscow Time |
Investigators admit that an explosion on the railway near Dagestan’s capital Makhachkala on Thursday night was an act of terror. The explosive device went off as a freight train was passing the place. A lawsuit was filed since the blast caused 14 carriages to derail and damaged the railway bed and the engine. No loss of life or bodily harm has been reported. Repair work is under way to restore railway traffic in the next few hours.
