Greek president sworn in for the second term

The President of Greece Karolos Papoulias  has been sworn in for a second term in the Parliament, after being re-elected  on February 3. Papoulias swore to safeguard the Constitution, to defend the national independence and territorial integrity of Greece and to protect the rights and interests of the Greek. Papoulias is 80. He  was an active member of the Greek Resistance Movement during WW2 and took the helm of the country in 2005.
