Seoul thinks highly of Moscow’s stand on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, says the South Korean ambassador to Russia Lee Yung-ho. The official underlines that both countries seek a resumption of the six-way talks and closely cooperate to reach a settlement of North Korea’s nuclear problem. The diplomat said that Seoul has no unambiguous recommendations for a stand that should be taken on North Korea, but pointed out that the government in Seoul was prepared for dialogue with Pyongyang if North Korea put forward no preconditions.
