BA cabin crew vote to walk out
| Mar 13, 2010 20:54 Moscow Time |
A half million ticket holders are in limbo after the cabin crews of British Airways voted in support of a two-stage strike from next Saturday against staffing and scheduling changes. There will be a break for the Easter period. The company says it is doing everything in its power to keep at least some of its flights to Moscow and St Petersburg unaffected. A senior executive is quoted as saying these destinations are money-spinners and sacrificing them would amount to a great loss. The strike is BA’s first in 13 years.
