Russians win 2 golds and 1 silver at the Paralympiad

Russian biathlete Irek Zaripov won the first golden medal at the Paralympic Games in Canada in a 2.4 km pursuit race for sportsmen with aberration of locomotor system. His result is 09:51.00. Ukrainian Yuriy Kostyuk von the second place and American Andy Soul – the third. The second golden medal for Russia was won by Konstantin Mikhaylov with the result of 10:32.02 in a 3 km ski race for sportsmen with aberration of locomotor system who perform in standing position. The second came Nils Erik Ulset of Norway, and the third – Grigoriy Vovchinskiy of Ukraine. Russian Marina Iovleva won the silver in 2.4 km pursuit race for sportswomen with aberration of locomotor system who perform in sitting position. Her result is 10:12.06. The first came Olena Yurkovskaya, and the third Lyudmila Pavlenko, both from Ukraine.
