The Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak has extended by three more days a closure of the Palestinian territories, first introduced on Thursday midnight to prevent further Palestinian protests at Israeli plans for 15 hundred new Jewish homes in Arab East Jerusalem. Clashes before the closure resulted in about a hundred non-fatal casualties. Only Palestinian physicians, teachers, clergy and people in urgent need of medical care can now cross from the West Bank into Israel.    Both the Palestinians and Israel claim Jerusalem as their capital.
