Russian emergency planes arrive in Chile

Two Russian emergencies ministry planes have arrived in Chile carrying rescuers, supplies and equipment including a mobile hospital to help the earthquake-stricken country, RIA Novosti news agency reported Sunday. The mobile hospital is capable of providing care for more than 200 victims. On February 27, an 8.8 magnitude earthquake occurred in Chile. According to official reports, about 500 people died as a result of the tremor, while more than 2 millions are homeless.
