Russia grabs 4th Paralympic gold in Vancouver

Russia's cross-country skier Irek Zaripov has won a gold medal in Men's 15 km Sitting at the 2010 Paralympics in Vancouver finishing the distance at the Whistler Paralympic Park in 41 minutes 01.01 seconds. Roman Petushkov, also of Russia, finished 10 seconds behind to win silver. Enzo Masiello of Italy finished in the third place. This is already the second gold award in a single day for Zaripov who earlier won the top award in biathlon. Russia is currently leading in the overall medal standings with four gold, four silver and two bronze medals.
