The remnants of the H.M.S. frigate Black Prince  have been found in the Black Sea. The vessel sank during the Crimean war in November 1854. Shortly after, rumor had it that the ship was full of treasure. These legends lured archeologists and treasure –seekers from all over the world.  Whether the treasures are really there remains unknown as only fragments of the ship were lifted.  Its hull has not been located.
