Russian female skiers win medals at Paralympics

Two Russian female skiers won medals at the Paralympic 15-kilometer standing cross-country events on Monday. Anna Burmistrova with a locomotive-system impairment took gold. Earlier she came first in the women’s pursuit standing biathlon. Visually impaired Lubov Vasilyeva grabbed silver finishing 3 and a half minutes after the gold-medal winner Verene Bentele from Germany. On the third day of the Paralympics Russia has 15 medals – six golds, six silvers and three bronzes.
