US 2004 Olympics champion may lose her title
| Mar 16, 2010 01:45 Moscow Time |
The International Association of Athletics Federation has urged the International Olympic Committee to overrule the results of the women’s 4x400 relay of the 2004 Summer Olympics. The current gold-title holder Crystal Cox from the US admitted using steroids in late January. If the plea is satisfied Russia’s Olesya Krasnomovets, Olesya Zykina, Nataia Antukh and Natalia Nazarova will be given gold and the silver will pass on to the Jamaican team with the bronze given to the UK.
