Countries of the euro zone have agreed an economic rescue plan for Greece, Jean-Claude Juncker, head of the 16-member euro zone’s group, told reporters after a meeting of the EU finance ministers in Brussels on Monday evening. They will meet again on Tuesday to map out the plan’s implementation schedule for the current year. The bailout package will range between 20 billion and 25 billion euros. Greece, whose huge budget deficit and public debt has become a serious test for the euro zone, was urged to conduct an austere fiscal policy.
