A Kyrgyz citizen, Beksultan Karybekov, who was shot dead in Dagestan’s capital of Makhachkala today, was definitely involved in the murder of the Orthodox priest Daniil Sysoyev, the head of the Moscow Investigative Committee, Anatoly Bagmet, told the Interfax news agency. Karybekov was stopped and asked to show his passport, but put up resistance to the police and was killed in return fire. He turned out to have a pistol with him from which Sysoyev had been killed in his church in Moscow last November.
