Turkmenistan always has enough gas for Russia
Turkmenistan’s president Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov is ready to provide Russia with the needed quantity of gas, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told journalists Tuesday after his two-day visit to Ashkhabad ." Turkmenistan always has enough gas for Russia, the president said ", - Lavrov noted. The volume of gas supplies is to be discussed by gas companies. Russia’s Gazprom has an agreement with Turkmenistan on 30 billion cubic meters of gas supplies a year. Earlier, before the April 2009 crush, gas supplies accounted for 50 billion cubic meters. After long negotiations the supplies were resumed on January 9th, 2010 . RIA Novosti news agency adduces an informal data that Gazprom averagely pays 240-250 dollars per one thousand cubic meters. In 2008, the concern purchased gas for 140 dollars.
