The EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia is thoroughly monitoring  security and stability near the border between  South Ossetia and Abkhazia after a provocative Imedi program.“Our monitors have witnessed the anxiety and concern of the local population for their security and safety caused by this incident," the statement of the Mission says.The document says the security situation in these areas has improved considerably since the winter of 2008 and has remained calm in the aftermath of the TV broadcast. "EUMM would like to remind all parties concerned, that this type of irresponsible programming has the potential to seriously destabilize the situation close to the boundary lines." the document concludes.
