Ingushetia marks 240 years with Russia

The Russian North Caucasian republic of Ingushetia is celebrating the 240th anniversary of its voluntary integration with Russia. The main ceremonies are being held in Malgobek, a city of military glory. Wreaths and flowers have been laid at the monument to Ingush soldiers killed during the Second World War. A series of memorial and art exhibitions have been launched. There will be a festival of Ingush culture in Moscow this autumn.
