Search for missing Russian woman in Cyprus
Police in Cyprus are searching for a Russian woman swept off a yacht by a wave in the Mediterranean on Tuesday. According to police sources, the search will continue until the body has been recovered. The missing woman’s husband and their two children are currently in hospital in Paphos and their condition is satisfactory. Alerted by the husband, who swam to the shore, the authorities sent rescue teams but their patrol boat capsized and one of the rescuers drowned. A few hours later the yacht with the children was washed ashore.
