Ukraine will join no military blocs - minister
| Mar 17, 2010 16:26 Moscow Time |
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Konstantin Grishchenko has reiterated that Kiev has no intention of joining any military blocs. During his meeting in Moscow with Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov he called for a “reasonable penetration” of Russian capital into Ukraine’s economy. Russian businesses, he said, feel much more comfortable in Ukraine as compared to other foreign partners. Grishchenko cited problems too and said that Ukraine’s integration in the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan would help settle them. The Ukrainian foreign minister supported what had been termed as “the energy of two peoples who could create great projects”.
