Russian biathletes win another 3 medals

Russian biathletes with sight problems Nikolay Polukhin, Lyubov Vasilyeva and Mikhalina Lysova won another three medals at the Vancouver Paralympiad. Polukhin came second in a 12.5 km race with the result of 32.7 seconds after German Wilhelm Brem. The third came Vitaliy Lukyanenko from Ukraine. Vasilyeva won the silver and Lysova the bronze in a women’s race on a similar distance. The first was Verena Bentele from Germany. In total, Russia already has 8 golds, 10 silvers and 5 bronzes in this Paralympiad. The second largest number of medals belongs to Germany, and the third to Ukraine.
