An exhibition featuring objects from the legendary Russian Varyag cruiser is under way in Vladivostok. Varyag was seriously damaged and its crew suffered big losses (33 dead and 88 injured). To prevent the enemy from seizing the ship, Captain Vsevolod Rudnev ordered to scuttle Varyag. Relics of the ship were lifted from the bottom of the sea a century ago were delivered to Russia in 2009 so that people in many cities across the country could see them. After the exhibition in Vladivostok, the relics will be returned to the museum in the South Korean city of Incheon.
