An Indian cosmonaut  will be a part of a space mission onboard  Russia’s Soyuz spacecraft in  2013, without docking the ISS. The head of “Roskosmos” piloted programs Alexey Krasnov said it would be an orbital “Gagarin-like” flight. India is not an ISS member-country (the project comprises Russia, the US, Europe, Canada and Japan). However, Russia’s prime minister Vladimir Putin said Russia and India will implement a joint space program during his March visit to the country.
