Medvedev says Russian Silicon Valley to be built near Moscow

The Russian analogue of the US Silicon Valley will be built in the Moscow region, President Dmitry Medvedev said Thursday. He was meeting the Russian schoolchildren and students who became the winners of different technical and mathematical competitions. The president said that the state of the art scientific complex for the development of new technologies will be built in the district of Skolkovo, which has already some basic facilities for it. 

The Russian Silicon Valley will become the center for technologies' development in five sectors: energy, telecommunications, bio medical technologies and nuclear technologies
