Russia’s Rubin FC blew its chances of making it into the quarterfinals of the UEFA Europa League finals losing to Germany’s Wolfsburg 1:2 in overtime on Thursday. Rubin’s Alan Kasayev scored in the 21st minute, but the Wolves equalized in the 58th and Christian Gentner then scored a winner in the 119 minute securing his team a berth in the quarterfinals. The first game played in Kazan ended in a 1:1 draw.
