Israeli aircraft struck at least six targets in the Gaza Strip on Friday, just a few hours after a rocket fired from the Hamas-ruled Palestinian enclave killed a Thai farm worker in southern Israel. Two people were injured  in the attack, Reuters reports quoting local Hamas representatives and eyewitnesses. The targets hit by Israeli warplanes included underground tunnels connecting Gaza with Egypt, a workshop near Gaza City and  two areas outside the town of Khan Yunis. A Palestinian group, the Al-Qaeda-inspired Ansar al-Sunna Brigade, not controlled by Hamas, claimed responsibility for Thursday's fatal rocket attack, which killed the Thai laborer working inside Israel near the Gaza border. The attack came less than a day before a planned meeting in Moscow by the quartet of Mideast mediators comprising Russia, the US, the UN and the EU.
