Nurgaliyev orders iFolder probe

Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev has ordered to check the legality of an investigation carried out by the Main interior department of Moscow against Agava Company – the designer and administrator of iFOLDER file-sharing service, the ministry's press service said on Thursday adding that Nurgaliyev was acting on instructions from President Dmitry Medvedev. On Wednesday afternoon iFolder servers were cut of current and sealed off on suspicion of child pornography distribution and police said they planned to withdraw all Agava servers. Right now iFolder, which has an estimated 1.5 million registered users, is inoperable.
