Black and white photos by the patriarchs of photographic art- Henri Cartier-Bresson, Martine Franck and Elliott Erwitt- have been put on display at the Manezh exhibition hall in Moscow. The event was organized as part of the Year of France in Russia project. Critics have long named Cartier-Bresson, who was a founding member of the Magnum picture agency in 1947, ‘an eye of the 20th century’. The current exhibition features 130 photos. The international Photo Biennial-2010 month offers over 60 exhibitions in major museums of Moscow.
