Deliveries of gas above any ideological disputes with Russia

Deliveries of gas are above any ideological disputes with Russia. This was stated in the Sejm (the lower house of parliament) by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Speaking with a report on the activity of the government, he said: "The main thing is that winter in the Polish flats be warm". Tusk recalled that at the end of 2008, when, in his words, several European Union states, including Slovakia, Hungary, the Balkan states and Austria were "on the verge of an energy catastrophe", Poland had received Russia's natural gas without interruption. A month ago the Polish government approved an agreement between Russia’s Gazprom Export and the Polish Oil and Gas Company PGNiG on gas supply from Russia to Poland until 2037.
