Russia’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has said the Organization of Gas Exporting Countries should become an effective coordinator of gas producers, consumers and transit countries on the global market. The Russian prime minister was speaking at a news conference after talks in Moscow with Qatar’s Prime Minister Hamad bin Jassem Al Thani. The gas forum, known as the “gas OPEC”, unites the world’s top gas exporting countries.
