DRM radio format expedient for Russia, Moscow says

The Russian government has approved the expediency of introducing the European digital radio system, DRM, in Russia and will draw up national standards for it within two years. The Voice of Russia has been broadcasting to Europe in the DRM format since April 2003. The DRM is used by the BBC, Deutsche Welle and Radio France International.
