Moscow is hosting the 10th Open Chereshnevy Les (Black Cherry Wood) Arts Festival with drama featuring prominently on its playbill. There will be two premieres – Shakespeare’s “The Tempest” staged by the well-known Georgian director Robert Sturua, and “A Soviet Operetta Party” directed by and starring the popular actor Oleg Menshikov. The French fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier will present his new collection. The not-to-miss events include a concert by the British rock legend Rod Stewart.
